Clean Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients:
Sweet potatoes (1 per person)
Pepper
Garlic powder
Pam olive oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel sweet potatoes. Cut into desired "fry" shape. Spray baking sheet with olive oil. Put sweet potatoes on baking sheet. I like to spray a thin layer of olive oil on top of the sweet potatoes, but if you prefer not to, that is ok too. Sprinkle with pepper and garlic powder, to taste. Bake for 15 minutes. Flip sweet potato fries and bake for another 15 minutes. Enjoy!
P.S. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's Organic Ketchup. It's delicious.

Clean Salsa
Ingredients:
4 medium tomatoes
1 jalapeño pepper
1/2 small onion
1/4 cup cilantro
1 lime
Directions:
Finely chop first 4 ingredients. Place in medium bowl. Squeeze lime juice on top of all other ingredients. Mix together. Serve with your choice of crackers, chips, etc. I served mine with whole grain crackers. This recipe is not too spicy, but if you like more spice, you can add more jalapeño.
Enjoy!

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar free applesauce
3/4 cup honey
2 eggs, beaten
3 mashed overripe bananas
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup cranberries
1/4 cup shredded almonds
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, mix together applesauce and honey. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. You can add the cranberries into the batter or on top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes.
